Bed/Chair Exit Fall Prevention Alert Pad

This Low Cost Bed/Chair Exit Alert is used to monitor an individual's movement. It won't prevent falls, but it can be crucial in getting assistance to someone as quickly as possible. At night, it is ideally placed at the bedside and then connected to the corded weight-sensing bed pad. The bed pad is placed under an individual on the bed and and when he or she gets up and weight is removed from the pad, the monitor will alarm, notifying whomever is monitoring that assistance may be needed. The pad is sized so that it can also be used in chairs. It will automatically reset when weight is placed back on the pad.
